Halloween continues with, well... Halloween! This week, Aubrey and Mackenna are discussing slasher films and how the primary villains often have traits that resemble physical disabilities. Aubrey has seen all of these movies. Mackenna has seen like three of them.

This week, Mackenna concludes her two-parter on the goth girlfriend trope/meme. Mackenna and Aubrey discuss both the manic pixie dream girl and sexy tragic muse tropes, they talk through wtf at e-girl is, and Mackenna gets real personal about how this all has been impacting her, an alt femme, recently. But first, two tangents about Elvira and whimsigoth.

It's time to get personal! We're bringing you a two-part series about the "goth girlfriend" meme on the Internet. This week, we define what goth actually is, discuss the "goth" girls we grew up with in movies and TV (Shego, the Hex Girls, Sam Manson, Wednesday and Morticia Addams, etc.), and get into the damage the big t*tty goth girlfriend meme has done to Mackenna and alt girls everywhere. We're going back to Reddit, baby!

This week, Aubrey is serving us past and present female mascots: Aunt Jemima, Betty Crocker, Flo from Progressive, and Lily from AT&T. Mackenna decides which Betty Crocker would bake the best cake and the podcast firmly becomes a Stephanie Courtney (Flo) fan podcast. Also, thank you to listener KDee who inspired this whole series! This week's episode is all about the M&Ms! Aubrey walks us through the history of the M&Ms mascot candies and also her conspiracy theory around their 2022 redesign. And Mackenna does a Tucker Carlson impression.

At least today, we get to talk about hot dudes, like The Brawny Man, Mr. Clean, and... the Charmin Dad? Join us for part one of this two-month tour through many, many iconic brand mascots!
